What sets us apart?

What sets UHSA apart?

Our curriculum has been designed taking into consideration, the need for knowledge of today’s physicians. Due to the solid foundation of the courses taught, our students are very successful during the clinical portion of the UHSA medical program. This is an important factor in successfully passing the required licensing examinations.

Since 1982, UHSA has graduated students from over 21 countries and 45 states within the U.S. Our students are represented in just about every specialty including, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and pediatrics. UHSA students have also gone on to prominent positions such as Heads of Hospitals, Department heads, Faculty, Chief residents, popular lecturers, etc.

At UHSA, you are more than just a number, you’re family. You will not find yourself in a classroom with hundreds of other students. One of the benefits of attending a smaller institution, such as UHSA, is the opportunity to experience a personalized education. You will be welcomed by faculty who live on campus, know your name, and who support you even outside of the classroom.

Smaller class size also means that there is no need to compete for clinical placements. With an extensive list of US Hospital Affiliations, our students are treated with the highest priority when it comes to hospital placement. After all, what is the reason for attending medical school if you are unable to gain hospital experience?

UHSA understands that in current times, we must do everything possible to provide Students with Financial Assistance. That is why we offer several options to eligible students ranging from full government and veteran loans to tuition assistance.
