CHICAGO – The University of Health Sciences Antigua is excited to announce a new partnership with Benedictine University, Lisle, Illinois, which will allow students to complete a combined MD/MPH degree. “The combined MD/MPH is a growing trend and we are excited to partner with Benedictine University to offer this to UHSA students,” says Adedayo Akande, Vice Chairman, UHSA Board of Trustees. Benedictine University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is built on a base of core courses that teach the foundations of public health concepts and processes. Each course has a conceptual, factual, and skill base. Students will complete coursework in biostatistics, epidemiology, management, policy, behavioral and social aspects of public health, environmental health and biology provides a scientific and practical base for public health practice.
