UHSA medical student Fatimah Akorede recently presented her research poster at the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Surgery Conference 2026 as part of the John Dawson Prize competition.
The Royal Society of Medicine is one of the United Kingdom’s most respected professional medical organizations, bringing together physicians, surgeons, researchers, and educators to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care. Presenting research in this setting represents an important milestone in a medical student’s academic and professional development.
