  4. Immunizations/Medical Records form must be filled out and signed by your physician. You must then email it to admissions@uhsa.edu.ag. Ensure your physician has signed it before you upload it, and please retain an additional copy of your immunization records. You will need it when you begin your clinical rotations, and we cannot return your original form to you once you submit it.
  5. COVID-19 Vaccination: Although the University of Health Sciences Antigua (UHSA) strongly advises students to receive full vaccination against COVID-19, including all CDC-recommended boosters, it is not required for entry into Antigua & Barbuda. However, all of the University’s affiliated clinical teaching hospitals currently require students to have full vaccination before participating in training. Students who are not vaccinated will face difficulties, higher expenses, or even be unable to complete graduation requirements on time or at all.
  6. Health Insurance: All students must have comprehensive health coverage and may elect to buy a student health insurance policy provided by Cigna should they require it. Students may provide Proof of Existing Insurance Coverage; otherwise, students will need to purchase insurance locally before starting classes.

You will be asked to provide a new CBC before your Clinical Clerkships. Please note: All students must submit a CBC to register for courses.
  8. Student Identification Card: All students must carry with them at all times a UHSA Student identification card, which will be provided.
